Dinner on the Verandah

The Whistling Swan Inn in Stanhope is presenting a community event with an old-fashioned summertime mood. The gracious Victorian inn at 110 Main Street in old town Stanhope is opening its beautiful wraparound verandah and gardens for dining and dancing under the stars! A buffet dinner catered by Gennuchie's Restaurant will be served at 6pm. Dancing in the private garden will follow dinner. The event is BYOB with soft drinks, coffee and tea to be served with desert.
On Saturday July 24 the music will be The Good Times Band. On Friday, August 20, Kathy Phillips and her three-piece band will be accompanying the dancers. Each event is limited to 40 people. The dates are Saturday, July 24 and Friday, August 20, 6-9pm. The cost is $45/person. For those who want to make an over night of it, rooms are available at reduced rates on an as available basis.
