My quest began three years ago. I came from a high-powered corporate setting in the food manufacturing and computer sector. I spent years in “multi-task”, “detail oriented” management. You may be familiar with the stress that entails. On that career track, work fills up your life. Peaceful travel is necessary to one's survival.
For the Whistling Swan Inn I envisioned an intimate inn filled with quality furnishings, a crackling fire in the fireplace, the aroma of fresh breakfast breads and cookies greeting weary guests ... a restful parlor to read a book or have a pleasant conversation with new-found friends.
