My quest began in 2000. I came from a high-powered corporate setting in the food manufacturing and computer sector. I spent years in "multi-task", "detail-oriented" management. You may be familiar with the stress that entails. On that career track, work fills up your life. Peaceful travel is necessary to one's survival.

For The Whistling Swan Inn, I envisioned an intimate bed and breakfast filled with quality furnishings, a crackling fire in the fireplace, and the aroma of fresh breakfast breads and cookies greeting weary guests...a restful parlor to read a book or have a pleasant conversation with newfound friends.
