Victorian Inn Hosts Bridal Tea

Future brides and their guests will be served a delectable afternoon tea prepared by House Party Catering, on Sunday, May 16 from 1 to 4PM.

Liz Armstrong, owner and innkeeper of the Whistling Swan Inn will greet her guests on the verandah with chilled beverages and conduct a tour of the gracious 1905 Victorian home. Brides and their guests will have the opportunity to interact with a select group of wedding professionals offering suggestions on everything needed to create the perfect wedding, as they browse the three-story home. Vendors will include a floral designer, makeup artist, hair stylist, bridal gowns and accessories, favors and more.

The future brides will be served Assorted Tea Sandwiches, Chicken Salad with a Smoked Almond Crust, Roast Beef with Boursin Cheese, Smoked Salmon Spread with Fresh Dill, Hummus with Roasted Garlic and Red Pepper Puree, Pat's Nuts - Sweet and Spicy Roasted Pecans, Assorted Finger Desserts including Petite Fours, Mini Pastries, and Homemade Cookies.
The hot tea service will include assorted Herbal, Regular and Decaffeinated Teas accompanied by traditional Scones and Lemon curd.

Prize drawings will be awarded throughout the afternoon and each attendee will receive a complimentary bridal magazine. Attendance is by reservation only. Tickets for the tea are $10 and available online at www.whistlingswaninn.com or by calling 973-347-6369.
