Grab your pearls, your feathers, and your best friends. It’s 1920, Prohibition is in full swing, and the most glamorous women in town have gathered at a secret speakeasy for a night of jazz, gossip, and a little bit of scandal. Not everyone will make it to last call.

Our inn transforms into a Roaring Twenties hideaway where flappers, socialites, starlets, and lady gangsters trade secrets over cocktails. The evening begins with appetizers and mingling as your crew arrives dressed to the nines. As dinner is served, the story unfolds, and every one of you is part of it.

The evening flows from one unforgettable moment to the next:

• Welcome reception with deviled eggs, pimento cheese stuffed celery, and cheese straws

• Signature “Bee’s Knees” honey lemonade (add your own gin if you like)

• 1920s dinner party favorites served family style: Chicken à la King over toast points, Waldorf salad, buttered green beans, and homemade Parker House rolls

• Dessert of Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, the dessert craze of the Roaring Twenties

• BYOB welcome for additional beverages

How the Mystery Works

Each guest is assigned a character in advance: a billionaire, a con artist, an aspiring actress, a gangster, a socialite, and more. Every character comes with a backstory, secrets to hide, and juicy connections to the others in the room. Over the evening, three ladies will meet an untimely end, each leaving behind clues. Some are real and some are red herrings. Fallen guests return as ghosts who keep investigating and still cast their vote. At the end of the night, everyone names their suspect and motive, the truth is revealed, and awards go to Best Guess, Most in Character, and Best Acted Death.
