The Morris Canal Room is located on the second floor at the front of Whistling Swan Inn in Stanhope, New Jersey (NJ). This cozy room has a beautiful queen-size featherbed which pretty much takes up the entire room! Relax to music or watch a movie on the 26" flat-panel TV equipped with a Roku to access all of your favorite streaming services. Enjoy the romantic glow of flames flickering from the electric fireplace. The three large windows make this room airy and light. Decorated in French blue toile and deep blue walls, the room has a brand new bathroom, which is enhanced by hand-painted tiles in the walk-in stall shower.
When the house was owned by the original family, this room functioned as the nursery, and consequently it is the smallest room in the house. Although comfortable for a quick getaway, because of its size, this room is designed with the solo traveler in mind.
